DIAGONAL IMBALANCE EXAMPLE OF NEWLY TRIMMED HOOF

This hoof looks to be pretty balanced and leveled, right?  Well, look again:

For trim instructions to rectify ... Trim (right side) toe quarter level with (left side) opposite toe quarter. Trim (left side) heel level with (right side) opposite. If this hoof were to be viewed from heel down to toe (holding leg by cannon and letting the hoof drop to view) then one would see that the toe quarter and the diagonal heel are both protruding a bit more than the rest of the hoof wall/heel.
